Two new members of Eco-Business unveiled
Sentinel Self-Storage and The Environmental Factor are the two latest members of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade to take our eco-challenge and complete the Board's Eci-Checklist.
The two businesses were recognized on Nov. 4 at their Ajax locations. Both gave a tour of their facilities and discussed the many ways they have changed their operations with an eye toward making environmentally friendly decisions, such as energy efficient lights and equipment, among many efforts.
Town of Ajax staff, Andrew Poray and Barb Hodgins were on hand to help recognize the two presentations. Representing the Board's Environment Task Force were Gary Strange and chair Neil Samson, with Board President John G. Smith making the presentation to Lorelei Hepburn and Cynthia Keyes of The Environmental Factor. At Sentinel Self-Storage, Site Managers Barb and John Strank accepted the Eco-Certificate.
