Intact Insurance Durham joins APBOT Eco-Business
Kim Hartwick and Karen Snow, representing Intact Insurance Durham, were recognized with the Board of Trade's most recent Eco-Business certificate of accomplishment, presented by Executive Director Kathy McKay.
The company is very conscious of its impact on the environment and Ms. Snow pointed to some specific efforts they have made when she submitted the completed checklist.
"In addition to the various initiatives that we have in place at our office to reduce our carbon footprint, I am pleased to advise that our workstations and chairs are made from recycled materials and are recyclable, too!" she stated.
