EBAC Cleans APBOT's Adopted Pickering Park
On Friday, November 4th, members of APBOT's Eco-Business Advisory Committee once again helped the Board of Trade make good on it's committment to the City of Pickering by cleaning Lynn Heights Park. The park was adopted by the Board of Trade in 2009 as part of the City's adopt-a-park program and periodic cleanups of this nature have been organized since that time.

Two lucky winners were announced this week in the Smart Commute Durham survey draw. APBOT members who completed the survey were entered into a raffle for the chance to win a couple of very nice prizes. The draw was made by Sandra McEleney from the Region of Durham, our liaison for the Smart Commute Program. APBOT Council member Peter Forint won the draw for the iPod touch and an employee of the Rouge Valley Health System won a $200 APBOT credit on behalf of the company. RVHS can put the $200 credit toward things such as advertising opportunities, event registration, or sponsorship.
APBOT urges it's members to find out more about Smart Commute and to check out carpoolzone.ca.
