AP Board of Trade members help launch of 2010 Terry Fox Run in Pickering

The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade was on hand to lend support to the organizers of the Pickering Terry Fox Run on Sept. 1. They were officially announcing the run date of Sept. 19 this year, for what is the 30th Anniversary year for the cancer research fundraiser.

Durham Radio installs defibrillators in cruisers

Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade member Durham Radio Inc. which features local radio stations KX96, CKDO 107.7 and 94.9 The Rock, have taken a big step toward keeping the public safe at community locations where their Events Cruisers appear.

Hugh Heron, president of Heathwood Homes and Mikey Network Chairman, was on hand at the radio station's Oshawa headquarters to help promote the installation of MIKEY Defibrillators in the event cruisers, and applauded the event staff, for taking the initiative to eb trained in using the equipment.
