Provincial party leader, Tim Hudak, leader of the Conservative Party of Ontario, visited the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade to talk to business leaders about local issues recently. He talked to a small group gathered at the Board's offices in Pickering Village and several topics came up, from insurance to health care.

During the roundtable session it was discussed how to create jobs in Ajax and Pickering and build the local economy.

Mr. Hudak and participants shared ideas on how to address the crisis in Ontario’s manufacturing sector, unaffordable hikes to electricity costs, the increased burden of red tape on small businesses, and Mr. Hudak explained the Ontario PC Caucus plans to help businesses create jobs.

Hudak shared his commitment that if elected he would eliminate what he called "Dalton McGuinty’s eco tax grab".
