On May 23rd, 144 golfers along with sponsors, volunteers and staff headed to Lakeridge Links Golf Club for the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade’s annual Business Links Golf Tournament. The weather was erratic but the fun, as always, was legendary. Although the day hit a balmy high of 21 degrees Celsius, by the tee time, the temperature began to plunge late afternoon making for a rather chilly back nine. Many attendees enjoyed a beverage back at the Clubhouse prior to the delicious dinner that was put on by Chef Tom and the wonderful staff at Lakeridge.
The top foursome for the event was the team from Integrity Financial and Estate Planning, an event sponsor and new Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade member. Other event sponsors included the Town of Ajax, the City of Pickering and Search Engine People.
