Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade Applauds Release of the 2010 Pickering Lands Needs Assessment Study

AJAX/PICKERING, ON (July 11, 2011) - The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade responded positively to the release of the 2010 Pickering Lands Needs Assessment Study.  The APBOT has been a strong advocate for the release of this information for the review and consideration of its membership.

"Our Board has been working tirelessly to move for the release of this report." says Donna McFarlane, President of the Board,"The future use of the area known as the Airport Lands continues to be raised as a leading topic of interest among our members."

The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade looks forward to receiving the full study later this week, and will closely review the recommendations.  Issues regarding transportation are key to the Board, as are areas of infrastructure, job creation and economic activity.
