People with disabilities and individuals with lived experience of accessibility barriers
Opportunity to shape the accessibility plan!
The City of Pickering is inviting people with disabilities, people with lived experience of accessibility barriers, family members, caregivers, support persons, community organizations, service providers and partners to participate in a series of upcoming accessibility focus groups beginning Tuesday, November 3.
This is an important opportunity to tell us, directly and candidly, what is working, where barriers remain, and what accessibility improvements should be prioritized over the next five years across City services, programs, facilities and public spaces.
We especially want to hear a broad range of perspectives and disability experiences. Your concerns, recommendations, wants and needs can help us identify where change would make the greatest practical difference.
